The awards, now in their 41st year, are one of the most prestigious recognitions in the air cargo industry. They will take place on October 22, 2025, in London, celebrating the sector’s outstanding achievements in innovation and excellence.

Our nomination recognizes the Truck Dock Slot Booking (TDSB) project at Singapore Changi Airport – the world’s largest digital cargo community platform streamlining landside operations. Launched in August 2024, the system is used by all ground handlers (SATS and dnata) and over 330 forwarders and trucking companies to coordinate freight pick-ups and drop-offs more efficiently.

With the TDSB, unpredictable truck arrivals and bottlenecks have been replaced by a digitally coordinated flow, resulting in:

• Shorter turnaround times & better staff planning
• Reduced waiting, idling, and emissions
• Increased safety and security
• Granular data and insights into performance

This project is a milestone in digital collaboration for the air cargo industry, showing how technology and community commitment together can drive efficiency, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
